Iran's foreign trade record in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (started on March 20, 2019) reached $65.5 billion, of which the share of exports was $31.1 billion and the share of imports was $34.3 billion, Iran`s Customs Administration spokesman said.
"Iran's total foreign trade record in January- February was $6.8 billion, of which the share of exports was $3.1 billion and the share of imports was $3.6 billion,” Ruhollah Latifi the Iran Customs Spox said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Foreign trade in mid-Jan to mid-Feb has experienced an increase of $184 million in exports and a decrease of $50 million in imports compared to mid-December to mid-January," Latifi noted
Regarding the country's export target countries in February, the customs spokesman said that China with 1.7 million tons, worth over $ 845 million, Iraq with 1.5 million tons worth $477 million, the UAE with 1.1 million tons, worth $441 million, Afghanistan with 576,000 tons worth $185 million and Turkey with 165,000 tons worth $183 million were of Iran's top five export destinations.
Regarding the most importing countries, he says that the UAE with 372,000 tons of goods (equal to $1.06 billion), China with 308,000 tons($908 million), Turkey with 360,000 tons ($426 million), Germany with 186,000 tons ($210 million) and India with 220,000 tons ($202 million) were the top five importing countries for Iran.
