An official with Iran's Government Trading Corporation announced the mooring of 2 ocean-going vessels (OGV) carrying goods in the port of Imam Khomeini.
Since the beginning of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), 736,000 tons of wheat have entered Imam Khomeini port by 11 ships, Omid Jahan Nejadian said, Trend reports citing Tasnim News Agency.
He announced that two ocean-going vessels carrying the basic commodity of wheat docked in the port of Imam Khomeini. These ocean-going vessels are carrying a total of 136,000 tons of wheat.
Nejadian went on to add that the grains required by the country are provided exclusively by Iran's Government Trading Corporation.
“Iran's Government Trading Corporation is responsible for the import of wheat, sugar, edible crude oil and rice,” he noted.
