TEHRAN, Iran, Feb. 5

Trend:

Iran imported livestock from Brazil in exchange for several hundred thousand tons of oil derivatives, member of the Iranian parliament's agriculture commission Zabihullah Aazami said, Trend reports citing ILNA.

“Brazilian traders can use barter deals, for example taking Iranian urea (to be used as fertilizers) and petrochemical products in exchange for agricultural products such as corn, soybean meal, and our meat,” he said.

According to the official, Iran`s government is currently trying to follow the same approach (oil barter deals), with other countries, including Russia.
