BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 9. Iran exported 1.25 million tons of non-oil products worth $407 million to Turkmenistan in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through February 19, 2024), Trend reports.
This is an increase of 6.5 percent in volume, while a decrease of 1.5 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year, as stated in the data from Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
In the corresponding period of as the previous year, Iran’s non-oil exports to Turkmenistan stood at around 1.17 million tons, valued at $413 million.
The main export items were agricultural and food products, industrial products, transformers, water conditioners, petrochemical products, etc.
Over the 11th month (March 21, 2023 through February 19, 2024), Iran's non-oil export to Turkmenistan was 130,000 tons worth about $39 million.
IRICA’s latest data shows that Iran exported a total of 125 million tons of non-oil products valued at $44.9 billion in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year. This represents an 8.87 percent drop in value but a 11.4 percent rise in volume compared to the same period last year.
