BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. Sales of Iranian polymer company Arya Sasol increased by 27.7 percent by value and 4.9 percent by weight last year in Iran (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), Trend reports.
Iran's polymer company Arya Sasol sold 1.16 million tons of products worth 339 trillion rials (about $8.07 billion) last year.
The company's sales were 1.1 million tons worth about 266 trillion rials (about $6.3 billion) in the previous year. And 2 years ago, the company's sales were 1.08 million tons worth about 275 trillion rials (about $6.5 billion).
To note, Arya Sasol Polymer was founded in 2001. The company can produce about two million tons of ethylene, polyethylene, and other petrochemical products per year.
Iran produces 13 million tons of polymer materials annually.
