Non-oil exports of Iran's Isfahan province announced

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 3. The exports of non-oil products from central Iran's Isfahan province decreased by 6 percent in value and 5 percent in weight in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), director general of Iran's Isfahan Province Customs Administration Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports.

According to Kuhestani, non-oil exports from Iran's Isfahan province in the last Iranian year amounted to about 2.3 million tons worth about $1.43 billion.

Kuhestani added that mainly iron and steel, petrochemicals, petroleum, carpets, and dairy products are exported from the province.

The official noted that 169,000 tons of goods worth about $755 million were imported to Iran's Isfahan province last year. The imported products increased by 9 percent in value terms and by 21 percent in weight terms compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, according to the statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration, the country's exports of non-oil products in the last Iranian year amounted to more than 136 million tons valued at $49.3 billion. Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 8.87 percent in value terms and increased by 9.82 percent in weight terms compared to the previous year.

To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, imports of products to Iran in the last Iranian year amounted to 39 million tons worth approximately $66.3 billion. Product imports increased by 9.77 percent in value and 4.39 percent in weight compared to the previous year.
