BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. Iran's non-oil trade with Türkiye in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) decreased by 13.8 percent in value and 30.2 percent in weight compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
According to the statistics, Iran's non-oil trade with Türkiye last year was about 12.7 million tons worth about $11.7 billion.
Statistics indicate that in the previous Iranian year, the two countries' non-oil trade turnover was 18.1 million tons worth about $13.6 billion.
The information adds that last year, the two countries exchanged agricultural and food products, petrochemical products, industrial and mining products, various equipment, food, raw materials, fabrics, etc.
Meanwhile, according to statistics, Iran's non-oil trade with Türkiye amounted to 1.1 million tons worth $1.1 billion for the 12th month of the last Iranian year (from February 20 through March 19, 2024).
To note, according to the statistics of the Iran Customs Administration, the country's trade turnover (imports and exports) last year amounted to more than $153 billion. Compared to the previous year, the trade turnover increased by 2.6 percent.
