BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13. Iran's non-oil exports to Russia increased by 27.1 percent in value terms and 54 percent in weight terms in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024) compared to the same period last year, the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
Figures show that Iran shipped 2.18 million tons of non-oil products to Russia last year, valued at approximately $946 million.
However, in the same period the previous year, Iran's non-oil product shipments to Russia totaled approximately 1.42 million tons worth $744 million.
According to statistics, Iran mostly exported agricultural, petrochemical, and industrial items to Russia.
Information indicates that Iran's non-oil exports to Russia for the 12th month of the last Iranian year (from February 20 through March 19, 2024) amounted to 202,000 tons valued at $94.2 million.
According to Iranian Customs Administration figures, the country's non-oil exports in the past Iranian year totaled more than 136 million tons worth $49.3 billion. Iran's non-oil exports fell 8.87 percent in value and climbed 9.82 percent in weight over the previous year.
