Senior member of the Iranian nuclear negotiations team Hamid Baeedinejad said the issue of anti-Iran sanctions was solved, IRNA reported.
Talking to the Iranian correspondents covering the negotiations on Tuesday, he said that the closing hour of talks could not be determined yet but said negotiations may continue for several hours.
He said the Islamic Republic of Iran has always stressed that it is not seeking an agreement per se but favors one which would safeguard the basic rights of the Iranian nation acknowledged by all international norms.
He said Iran is going to keep up with its discussions until ensuring that an agreement would safeguard the rights of the Iranian nation.
The Iranian official underscored that negotiations are presently at their final stages and are of high political, legal and technical significance.
He noted that talks are now concentrating on such issues as details of sanctions, research and development of enrichment activities and expressed hope for a speedy ultimate solution to these issues.
The Iranian official further said that both countries which are participating in the talks and those which are not in Lausanne stress the historical importance of negotiations.
He said that the foreign ministers of the negotiating countries are present in the process of talks in person for many hours and many even had no sleep last night.
However, he said, reaching a final solution depends on the kind of decisions to made yet.
He said at the present juncture negotiations are focusing on the issues remaining unsettled.
Underlining the issues are quite twisted and complicated, he said that all participating parties have to make tough decisions.
Baeedinejad said negotiations will end only when a final decision is made about all the proposed ways.
He said that the issue of sanctions has certainly been solved, of course not all at once today or yesterday but through prolonged negotiations.
He said that are some topics related to sanctions still remain that need to be addressed.
