By Fatih Karimov - Trend:

Those Iranian Hajj pilgrims who are feared to carry corona disease have been quarantined, Iranian Health Minister Hasan Qazizadeh Hashemi said.

He added that none of the Iranian Hajj pilgrims have been diagnosed with corona virus so far, ISNA news agency reported on October 24.

The minister further said that the Saudi Arabia has made an all-out cooperation with the Iranian health ministry regarding Iranians who were injured during the Mina stampede.

However, the Saudi Arabian health ministry's cooperation was overshadowed by mismanagement of some other Saudi officials.

The stampede occurred in the Mina valley, outside the Saudi city of Mecca, where Muslims were performing the Hajj rites Sept. 24.

Iran has lost over 400 souls in the incident and about 70 Iranians are still missing following the incident.

Coronavirus, a respiratory disease which resembles a common cold, is not eradicated in Saudi Arabia yet and kills rather a large number of people in the time of outbreak.
