About 2 tons of explosives discovered in Garmsar
Deputy Head of the National Security Strategic Investigation Department at the Intelligence Ministry Mr. Shafiei announced on Tuesday that around two tons of explosives were discovered in Garmsar, IRNA reported.
Shafiei told a group of officials on Tuesday that discovery of the explosives had been possible thanks to cooperation of people.
Shafiei, who was addressing the administrative council meeting of Kohgiloyeh-Boyerahmad Province on Tuesday, did not mention the date of the discovery.
He said the explosives were to be used for bombing at least 10 points of the country upon arrival of the ring leader of the Takfiri terrorist grouplet, the major military wing of Daesh in Iran.
He said a telephone call by a person served as the prelude to the intelligence and security operation to discover and confront such a terrorist act.
