Pilots based at the Russian military base in the Southern Military Region, stationed in Armenia, have made more than 100 training flights since early 2013, the Russian Defence Ministry said today, Armenia Today reported.
As a result, the average flight hours of each pilot reached around 10 hours.
Special attention has been paid to working out a piloting technique in low clouds, in case of fog at low altitude, as well as when flying in mountainous areas.
The pilots of the MiG-29 fighters made more than 50 air combat training manoeuvres during individual sorties and groups at altitudes from 500 to 8000 feet.
