Trotyl was found in the bus exploded in Yerevan and on the scene, Sputnik news agency reported citing the Armenian investigative committee as saying.
"The investigative measures are being carried out to reveal the causes of the explosion," the committee said. "A sim card was found and the owner of this sim card detected."
"The owner of the sim card is an earlier convicted Armenian citizen," the committee said. "Trotyl, explosives, detonator, different electrical equipment were found at this citizen's house."
A bus exploded in Yerevan, Armenia, killing two and injuring eight people in the evening of April 25.
The explosion occurred in downtown Yerevan at the intersection of Halabyan and Arzumanyan streets and could be heard from miles away.
