Former Georgian President Again Tops Ranking in a Survey

Georgia, Tbilisi /corr. Trend N.Kirskhalia / The outstanding opposition Rezonans newspaper of Tbilisi held a social survey on the eve of the Presidential elections in Georgia. As a result, Mikhail Saakashvili, the ex-President of Georgia, toped the ranking of the candidates for Presidency, totaling 20.4%.

He is followed by chairman of the united opposition, Levan Gachechiladze 16.4% and the rest by other candidates. Out of the 900 people questioned, 27% stated that yet they have not made a choice, more than 135 refused to call their candidate and 7% did not wish to answer. In addition, a week ago, Saakashvili gained more than 20% in the survey held by Georgian Times newspaper.
