Georgia, Tbilisi, 8 February / Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / The leader of the Georgian Imedi party Irina Sarishvili urges changes to be made in the Constitution which would ban the deployment of any foreign military bases in Georgia, she said at a briefing.
Sarishvili calls on the Georgian Parliament to give her a petition form. Once she collects 200,000 signatures, the Parliament will had to consider the issue.
Sarishvili wants Georgia to be neutral. She believes the country should not accept foreign servicemen and urges to fix the situation through the Constitution.
