Georgia, Tbilisi, 27 March / corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ Georgia has a serious chance to obtain MAP in NATO summit to be held in Bucharest on 2-4 April. Nino Burjanadze, the chairman of Georgian parliament said on 27 March.
In this way she commented the statement of foreign minister of the Kingdom of Netherlands who said that it would be possible to grant MAP to Georgia and Ukraine only after a year.
"We have never said that we will obtain MAP for 100%, but we do have chances for that and I do not think that Netherlands will oppose the granting MAP to us," Burjanadze said.
"I can say that we will obtain MAP in the shortest time possible and the entry of Georgia to NATO is irreversible," she said.
