Georgia Thank Poland for Support

Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia /David Bakradze, Georgian Foreign Minister, called the statement of Polish President on possible withdrawal of veto from the negotiations on cooperation between European Union and Russia only after joining of Georgia and Ukraine to NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP), an example of support to new democracy.

"We higly appreciate the support of Poland, which must become an example for other countries, that have common interests in NATO," he noted. The Georgian Minister called this action as significant support to Georgia, as well as demonstrates that the country is not alone in Europe.
