Georgia, Tbilisi, 1 July / corr. Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Heads of border organizations of GUAM countries are to sign a cooperation plan for 2009 in Batumi on 1 July, the Georgian frontier police told Trend .
The sixth business meeting of the GUAM border chiefs opened on 30 June within the framework of the summit of the heads of state of GUAM member-countries. The gathering mulled over situation at borders and assessed joint measures, taken within the framework of plan coordinated in 2008.
The heads of the frontier bodies will also participate in a plenary meeting of the summit of Presidents of the GUAM countries.
