Georgia, Tbilisi, 4 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Sukhumi and Moscow created a situation to announce their refusal to participate in the Berlin meeting, said Georgia's State Minister for Re-integration Temur Yakobashvili.
"On different pretexts Sukhumi tried to refuse from participation in the Berlin meeting and decided to use for this purpose aggravation of the situation in the South Ossetian conflict area," said Yakobashvili.
According to Minister, obviously, Russia and Abkhazia decided the easiest way is to cause tension in the Tskhinvali region and to refuse from the Berlin meeting on the pretext of the casualties.
On 3 August, during a meeting of the U.N. Security Council, leader of Abkhazia's separatists Sergey Bagapsh stated Sukhumi refuses from participation in the Berlin meeting due to the events in South Ossetia.
