Georgia, Tbilisi, 29 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / A Russian citizen, will file an action at the European Court in Strasburg against Russia. Nadezhda Mishukova, a Russian citizen, told journalists that she became a victim of the Russian servicemen's attacks on Gori.
"The Russian soldiers attacked us at a road near to Gori, when we left the city by car. They threatened us with guns, took away the car and all private things," she stated. The Russian soldiers kept Mishukova and her three children at gun point and threatened to kill them in case of their disobedience, she said.
The Russian citizen applied to the Russian Embassy in Tbilisi. However, the embassy refused to help them. "We were not alone. There were a lot of Russian citizens suffering from the Russian servicemen, whilst the embassy refused to assist all of them," she said.
Currently, Mishukova intends to tell at the Strasburg court, how the Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev's army protects their citizens beyond the border and to demand compensation for moral and material damage.
The Georgian lawyers believe that Mishukova has great opportunities to win the case, because there are precedents on this case, including those with respect to Russia.
