Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb.4 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia /
The NGO Fair Elections will send observers to the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
The head of the organization, Eka Siradze, told Trend that the NGO has taken obligations to monitor the elections, and cannot risk their implementation by opting against the trip.
The second round of the elections will be monitored by 26 observers from Fair Elections.
Earlier Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili called upon all Georgian observers asking them to return home, as their participation in Ukraine's presidential elections has been criticized.
Saakashvili emphasized that Georgia preserves neutrality and does not support any presidential candidate, intending to establish relations with any president elected by the people.
