A representative delegation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States has arrived in Georgia to familiarize itself with Georgian police reforms. As the Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend, 250 FBI officers will become familiarized with the reforms in the Georgian police and will attend a conference.

Today, FBI delegation headed by Matt Ray visited the Police Academy in Georgia .

He said within five days views will be exchanged between the U.S. and Georgian law enforcement agencies.

"We are interested in Georgia 's reforms and we will familiarize ourselves with it," Ray told journalists.

In turn, Georgian Police Academy 's rector Khatuna Dekanoidze said the police will familiarize with the methodology of training, which exists in the country. He said the Georgian side is ready to listen to FBI experts' recommendations.

It should be noted that FBI is holding similar large-scale trips with conferences annually.
