Georgian president awards French ambassador

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has received French Ambassador Eric Fournier, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country. The President thanked the Ambassador for his activities and contribution to the development of Georgian-French relations, and awarded him the Presidential Order of Radiance.
Eric Fournier began diplomatic mission in Georgia in September 2007. His mandate will expire on Oct. 23. Eric Fournier will continue his activities as a head of a department at France Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
