A law adopted by Turkey on a visa regime does not meet the terms of the Georgian-Turkish agreement in this sphere, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania told journalists.

A law adopted by Turkey on a visa regime does not meet the terms of the Georgian-Turkish agreement in this sphere, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania told journalists.

"The Georgian side is holding a dialogue with the Turkish side, and we believe that this law does not meet terms of the bilateral agreement. We seek it to meet bilateral regime as much as possible," Jalagania said.

Migration restrictions towards foreigners in Turkey will enter into force from Feb.1.
