Georgian parliamentary delegation to attend OSCE PA winter session

The winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Vienna on Feb.23-24, which will be also attended by the Georgian parliamentary delegation.
According to the head of the Georgian parliamentary delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Gigi Tsereteli, the conversation in Vienna will touch upon a number of important issues, including the protection of human rights in the OSCE member countries, media freedom, penitentiary system reform, and others.
Issues of Sergei Magnitsky, Yulia Tymoshenko and the political prisoner Andrei Sannikov will be also considered. The discussion will touch upon elections held in Russia, on which the OSCE Observation Mission report will be presented.
"We will pay particular attention to the situation in the occupied territories, destruction of cultural heritage, restriction of the right to education and non-fulfillment of the commitments assumed by Russia," Mr Tsereteli said.
