Georgia, Tbilisi, April 16 /Trend, N.Kirtskhalia/

Farsi language courses will be opened in Georgia's Batumi university. The agreement to open such courses was discussed during the meeting of Ajarian Autonomous Republic government and a 12 man delegation of Eastern Azerbaijan province of Iran.

The Iranian delegation, which also included Iranian businessmen, was headed by the governor of Eastern Azerbaijan province Ahmad Alireza Beygi.

Head of Ajarian Autonomous Republic government Levan Varshalomidze briefed the guests about region's tourism potential.

The development plans for Batumi were also discussed. The sides have also agreed on cooperation in economy, agriculture, tourism and culture.

Iranian delegation will also visit the House of Justice today, as well as customs service in Sarpi, and do some sightseeing.

In turn, the delegation from Adjara will visit Eastern Azerbaijan province in three months.
