PM: Lithuania supports Georgia's integration into Europe and NATO

Lithuania is supporting Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures, Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, who arrived in Georgia on a four-day working visit, told reporters on Monday.

Lithuania is supporting Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures, Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, who arrived in Georgia on a four-day working visit, told reporters on Monday.

This is the first visit of the high level Lithuanian delegation in the past five years. Kubilius and the delegation members will meet with Georgian officials, students, and be taken on a tour of the country's important areas.

"Lithuania has a good relationship with the country's leadership and our association is developing day by day. We always stand next to Georgia in her difficult moments," Kubilius said stressing that Lithuania supports Georgia's territorial integrity.

The Lithuanian delegation includes members of the committee of local self-government who will attend the conference on related issues.
