A group of Russian journalists and tour operators arrived in Georgia on Friday. As the tour participants said at the Tbilisi Airport, Georgia is very popular among Russian tourists, and they intend to explore all offered by the Georgian side in detail.
Georgian National Administration of Tourism will provide guests special information tour on the country with visits to Kakheti, Kartli, Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Imereti, Svaneti, Samegrelo and Adjara, where guests from Russia will become familiar with all the sights.
The tour is aimed at promoting Georgia's tourism potential in Russia and the restoration of relations between neighboring countries.
Guests from Russia will stay in Georgia until May 11.
