Economic growth in Georgia during the second quarter was 8.1 percent, Georgian National Statistics Service told Trend on Tuesday.
In April the growth rate was 6.8 percent, May - 4 percent, and in June - 8.9 percent.
In the first quarter economic growth in Georgia hit 5.9 percent.
As Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said earlier, annual growth forecast will be 8 percent by the end of the year.
