Georgia’s hurricane leaves 37,000 subscribers without electricity

The disaster in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia has left 37,000 subscribers without electricity.
According to the electricity distribution company of Kakheti, this time 47 feeders are switched off and the Gurjaani, Sagarejo and Lagodekhi regions have been cut off completely from power.
Relevant services are working in the emergency to eliminate problems as soon as possible and restore the power supply, the company said.
As a result of heavy rain and a hurricane in Kvareli and Lagodekhi dozens of homes were flooded and in the village of Chumlaki in the Gurjaani region winds tore roofs off.
