The former captain of the football team of Georgia Kakha Kaladze has become the first number of the party election list of opposition Georgian Dream coalition, coalition leader Bidzina Ivanishvili said presenting the party list on Friday.
He stressed that it was Kaladze after him who was most attacked by the authorities.
"This is a well-known and worthy man, and while he has no experience in managing state agencies, yet he is a natural leader," he said.
The coalition's top ten includes party Georgian Dream party's leader Manana Kobakhidze, leader of Free Democrats party Irakli Alasania, the leader of the Republican Party David Usupashvili, leader of Industrialists Gogi Topradze, leader of the National Forum Gubaz Sanikidze, Conservative leader Zviad Dzidziguri, Ivan Kiguradze, David Saganelidze, Irakli Garibashvili, leader of the Social Democratic Party Gia Zhorzholiani and leader of the Green Giorgi Gachechiladze.
Ivanishvili himself in case of victory of the coalition in the parliamentary elections on October 1 will be submitted to the prime minister's post. Under the new Constitution, it is prime minister who becomes the main figure in the state.
The list includes 200 people.
