Georgian candidate for Minister of Energy and for Deputy Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze claims that his 'Kala Capita' company will start selling 45 per cent of shares Gruzgidrostroy (hydro construction company)
"In accordance with the 13th article of the law on incompatibility of interests at public service 'Kala Capital' will start the sale of Gruzgidrostroy shares within 10 days after my appointment. As for my other business activities, which does not apply to the energy sector , the decisions on will be made in line with the legislation. I would like to note that my work has always been based on respect for law and will do so in the future, " Kaladze stated.
Parliamentary elections were held in Georgia on October 1. Around 14 parties and two political blocs participated in the elections.
According to full the preliminary data of the Georgian Central Election Commission, the Georgian Dream coalition will receive 85 seats in the parliament, and the United National Movement, 65.
The leader of the Georgian Dream coalition has introduced new candidates for ministerial posts in the new Georgian government.
Ivanishvili himself will take the post of prime minister.
