Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov.5 / Trend, N.Kirtskhalia /

Georgia has two-party support for its desire to integrate into Euro-Atlantic structures, U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland told journalists on Monday.

"Both the president and the prime minister seek to ensure that Georgia joined the Euro-Atlantic structures. The issue remains unchanged. Final goal - membership in NATO," Norland said.

He said that during U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's meeting with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze held last week, Clinton stressed the progress that Georgia has achieved in recent years.
