Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations Tedo Japaridze welcomes the statement of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia in connection with the possible return of Georgian wine to the Russian market.
It is very good that Russian side makes such statements, the MP told journalists.
"I hope that concrete steps with regard to the wine or other issues will be followed by concrete political actions and decisions. Important thing is that these positive steps began to come from both sides," Japaridze said.
He noted that he has no information about whether a visit to Russia is planned in connection with the return of Georgian products to the Russian market.
