The European Parliament voted in favor of granting Georgia and Kyrgyzstan macroeconomic assistance worth 46 million and 30 million euros respectively, the EU Delegation to Georgia told Trend on Thursday.
The European Commission recommended allocation of the funds.
The EU's macroeconomic assistance to Georgia is an addition to the financial support from the International Monetary Fund for the implementation of national reform programs.
