Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will visit the United States. As the Presidential administration told Trend, Saakashvili will leave for Washington from Greece.
In the U.S., Saakashvili will attend the AEI World Forum. Saakashvili is also scheduled to make a speech, where he will speak about the situation in Georgia in the period after the parliamentary elections on Oct.1.
In Greece, the Georgian president attended a meeting of the ruling group of the European People's Party and leaders of the national delegations.
