Joint military exercises with NATO held in Batumi port

Joint military exercises with NATO were held in Batumi port.
The crews of two German and one Turkish minesweepers jointly with Georgia's Coast Guard held military exercises on containment and extinguishing fire on a boat, the Border Police of Georgia told Trend on Saturday.
The exercises focused on coordination of joint actions during a fire, as well as providing medical aid.
Exercises on elimination of sea mines were also held today.
The representatives of Special Forces of Georgian Interior Affairs Ministry as well as Defence Ministry participated in these exercises together with NATO servicemen.
These are the first exercises within the framework of the visit of NATO warships to Georgia.
