The servicemen of the Georgian Armed Forces in the framework of the program of meetings with soldiers of other nationalities in 20-1 Brigade of the National Guard met with the Azerbaijani servicemen of Georgian Armed Forces.
As the Defense Ministry told Trend, the purpose of the meeting is to provide the representatives of national minorities in their native language with information regarding reforms in the Georgian Armed Forces, develop an interest in military service, increase their civic awareness, and learn about their problems and respond to them in a timely manner, that will develop at the representatives of national minorities a sense of a civic dignity.
Benjamin Kasimov, the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, briefed the participants with the current infrastructure and social projects.
Similar meetings will be held in other military units.
