On October 23, the League of Arab States will send its 12 observers to Georgia to monitor the parliamentary elections, Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.
The preliminary group consisting of three observers of the League of Arab States, headed by League's Deputy Secretary General visited Georgia on September 30 - October 3.
During the visit, the delegation met with Georgian Minister of Justice, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the Interior Ministry.
A memorandum was also signed during the meeting with the Chairman of Georgia's Central Election Commission.
The delegation of the League of Arab States also met the leaders of the Georgian Dream coalition and the United National Movement party.
