The new Georgian Prime Minister's name will be known a week after the presidential election to be held on October 27, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said in an interview with the Moambe programme of the Georgian Public Broadcaster.
"A new candidacy will be coordinated with the council (the ruling party) and a coalition within a week after October 27," Ivanishvili added.
He stressed that he had been assessing several people for a long time.
"I had my priorities and they are well-developed," he said. "I have a choice. The country will have a good prime minister."
He is confident that there will be no second round of the presidential election.
