The U.S. Ambassador in Georgia, Richard Norland praised the organizational aspect of the presidential election held in Georgia on October 27.
"This election is very significant for Georgia. This day can make a contribution to the consolidation of democratic institutions in the country. We observe how this election is organized, and it is obviously organized very well. I believe that the processes will be democratic and transparent," Norland told journalists.
The presidential election is being held in Georgia on Sunday, October 27. Some 23 candidates have been registered in the election.
