The Surcouf (F711) frigate of the French National Navy (Marine nationale) will arrive in Batumi Port on July 8-12, French Embassy in Georgia said on July 7.
On July 10, the French Ambassador in Georgia Renaud Salins will hold a reception on board the Surcouf frigate for representatives of the Georgian government and the diplomatic corps.
The frigate's visit will be carried out as part of the bilateral cooperation in the defence sector.
In late April, the French reconnaissance ship Dupuy de Lome visited the Batumi Port.
