A Georgian parliamentary delegation headed by Speaker David Usupashvili will pay an official visit to Iran on January 24-27.
The meetings are planned to be held with Iran's President Hassan Rouhani and Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani, the Georgian parliament told Trend.
The joint press conference will be held following the meeting of the chairmen of the parliaments of the two countries. The sides will discuss political, economic, trade and cultural relations between the two countries.
The meetings will be also held with other representatives of the executive and legislative branches of Iran.
Usupashvili will deliver a lecture to the students of the University of Tehran.
The Georgian delegation includes Tedo Japaridze, Gubaz Sanikidze, David Bakradze and Shalva Kiknavelidze.
