Thirty-five companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey from January through August 2020, which is by 14 companies more than in the same period of 2019, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend.
During the reporting period, the total capital of Georgian companies registered in Turkey amounted to 872,000 liras ($104,767), as compared to 3.105 million liras ($37,305) in the same period of last year.
From January through August 2020, most of the Georgian companies were registered in Istanbul (32 companies) with a total capital of 657,000 liras ($74,610).
During the reporting period, one industrial company, 34 wholesale and retail companies were registered in Turkey.
The total capital of 34 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 621,000 liras ($36,070).
