Georgia's sheep exports from January through October 2021 decreased by 4.3 percent to $25.5 million worth of sheep, compared to $26.6 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
However, sheep exports from Georgia in October 2021 decreased by 71.4 percent, compared to $4.9 million in September 2021, and by 67.4 percent, compared to $4.3 million over the same month of 2020, totaling $1.4 million.
TOP-5 importers of Georgia's sheep:
Saudi Arabia – $18.1 million;
Azerbaijan – $5.2 million;
Kuwait – $1 million;
the UAE – $827,800
Qatar – $112,500.
