Georgia publishes COVID-19 data for January 20

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Jan. 20

Georgia reported 6,351 new COVID-19 cases, 3,043 recoveries, and 27 deaths over the past 24 hours, Trend reports via the Georgian government's StopCov website.

A total of 38,306 tests have been conducted over the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 18,896 tests were rapid, while the remaining 19,410 were PCR tests.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 million people, among them, 946,255 have recovered and 14,582 have died.

There are 46 people currently in quarantine, 4,443 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized. Some 1,746 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed into government-assigned facilities.

As of January 20, more than 2.6 million people got the COVID-19 vaccine, and 2,656 were vaccinated over the past 24 hours.
