Azerbaijan’s Buta Airways ranked first among airlines operating in Georgia in terms of passenger traffic in 2021 with an average occupancy rate of 92 percent, Trend reports via Georgia’s AviaNews.
El Al Israel Airlines was second on the list (82 percent) in 2021. Iranian airline Qeshm Air, which returned to Georgia a few months ago, ranked third (80 percent), with Israeli Arkia Airlines and Kazakhstan's Air Astana ranked next with 78-percent occupancy.
TOP-10 air carriers in 2021 in terms of passenger traffic:
Buta Airways (Azerbaijan) – 92 percent;
El Al (Israel) – 82 percent;
Qeshm Air (Iran) – 80 percent;
Arkia (Israel) – 78 percent
Air Astana (Kazakhstan) – 78 percent;
Belavia (Belarus) – 77 percent;
Kuwait Airways (Kuwait) – 77 percent;
Pegasus Airlines (Turkey) – 76 percent;
LOT Polish Airlines (Poland) – 74 percent;
SCAT Airlines (Kazakhstan) – 74 percent.
