BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. The government and various international companies based in Russia and Ukraine discuss the relocation of their offices in Georgia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili said, Trend reports via Georgian media.
According to Davitashvili, Georgia is in active talks with British, German, and many other companies on the development of various sectors, new jobs creation, and other issues that will highly contribute to the country’s economic development.
“Georgian Government, in particular, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Finance, as well as other relevant agencies work jointly on Georgia’s attractive appearance for international companies and the country’s establishment as a regional financial hub,” the minister said.
The minister added that the government also considers the development of transport and logistics sectors, in order to optimize the resources of the country in this regard.
