Georgia reports zero deaths from COVID-19 first time since pandemic outbreak

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 7. Georgia reported zero casualties from coronavirus over the past 24 hours since the country started keeping track of COVID-19 related deaths in the country, Trend reports via the Georgian government's StopCov website.

Meanwhile, 324 new COVID-19 cases, and 721 recoveries were registered as of today in Georgia. There are 426 COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 1.65 million people, among them, 1.62 million have recovered and 16,765 have died.

As of April 7, more than 2.8 million people got the COVID-19 vaccine, and 595 were vaccinated over the past 24 hours.
