BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. The number of visitors traveling through seaports to Georgia increased significantly in April 2022, Trend reports via Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The number of visitors traveling to Georgia through Batumi Sea Port in April 2022 amounted to 576 visitors, which is an increase of 83.4 percent, compared to 314 people over the same period of 2021.
Meanwhile, Poti Sea Port received 421 visitors in April 2022, which is an increase of 32 percent, compared to 319 visitors over the same period of 2021.
The number of visitors traveling to Georgia through Kulevi Sea Port in April 2022 totaled 69 people, which is 10 times more than in April 2021.
Meanwhile, the total number of international visitors to Georgia in April 2022 amounted to 244,293 visitors, which is an increase of 184.9 percent, compared to 85,754 over the same period of 2021.
